Privacy Policy

Who we are

IronMind is provided by Stan Krijgsman (trading as IronMind), based in the Netherlands. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

Questions or requests about your data: privacy@focusfitplan.com.

This policy covers the IronMind Android app and the website focusfitplan.com.

In short

  • Your lifting videos never leave your phone. The app analyses them on the device and saves only the resulting numbers.
  • We only store what the app needs to work: your account, your training profile and your training records.
  • We do not sell your data, show ads or use tracking or advertising tools in the app.
  • We do not collect heart rate, injury information, body weight, age, location or contacts.
  • Sharing your feedback to improve the analysis is optional and off by default.
  • You can export or delete your data at any time.

What we collect and why

We process the following data to provide the app to you (performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), unless stated otherwise.

  • Account: your email address and a password. The password is stored by our authentication provider in hashed form; we cannot read it.
  • Training profile: display name, height (used to convert bar speed into metres per second), experience level, training goal, days per week, preferred training style, units, focus lifts, secondary goals, target muscles, competition timeline, programming style, available equipment, movements to avoid and required exercise types.
  • Training records: your weekly programmes, logged sets (exercise, weight, repetitions, effort rating), workout notes you write, and which suggested exercises you accept or dismiss.
  • Lift analyses: numbers calculated from a video on your phone, such as repetitions, range of motion, tempo, bar speed, sticking point position, joint angles, camera angle and confidence scores. The video itself and the body landmarks detected in it are never uploaded.
  • Running: running goal, level, target distance, running days and plan start date; for each run the date and time, distance, duration, run type and effort rating; for races the date, distance, goal time and name.
  • Feedback on analyses: your answers to the short questions after an analysis (for example a corrected rep count), stored with that analysis so your history shows your corrections.

Workout notes are free text. Please do not use them for medical or other sensitive information; the app does not need it.

Improving the lift analysis (optional)

If you switch on "Use my answers to improve the analysis" in Settings, we also use your feedback answers, together with those of other users, to check how often the analysis is right and to adjust the confidence it shows. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

  • Off by default. Every feature works the same whether it is on or off.
  • What is used: your answers, the lift, the camera view, and the numbers and confidence the analysis produced. No video, no account details.
  • Answers are combined under a random code that changes every time the data is processed, so they cannot be linked to your account or across runs.
  • Answers are only used in groups of at least 10 users, each user counts for at most 50 answers per group, and only answers from the last 24 months are used.
  • The result is a set of statistics without personal data, which the app uses to adjust the confidence it shows.
  • You can switch it off at any time; your answers are then left out of the next update. You can also delete all your answers in Settings.

We keep a record of each time you switch this on or off and which version of the explanation you saw, to be able to show that you consented (Article 7(1) GDPR). This record is deleted with your account.

Website

When you visit focusfitplan.com, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the website and to count visits. If a page crashes, the error message and the page address are reported to our hosting platform so we can fix the problem. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and the analysis model are served from our own website, not from third parties.

Who processes data for us

We use the following service providers. They process data only on our behalf and for the purposes above.

  • Lovable Labs Inc. (United States), through its Lovable Cloud service: hosting of the app backend, database and server functions, and sending account emails such as sign-up confirmations and password resets. The database and server functions are located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
  • Our website is delivered through a global network of servers, which may process technical data (such as your IP address) outside the European Economic Area.
  • Google: distributes the Android app through Google Play. Google processes data about your download and installation under its own privacy policy.

Because Lovable is a US company, your data may be accessed from outside the European Economic Area, for example for support or maintenance. For information about the safeguards that apply to transfers outside the European Economic Area, contact us at privacy@focusfitplan.com.

How long we keep data

  • Account, profile, training, running and analysis data: until you delete it or delete your account.
  • Feedback answers: until you delete them or your account. For improving the analysis only answers from the last 24 months are used.
  • Consent records: until you delete your account.
  • Website server logs: as long as our hosting provider keeps them for operating the service.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy (you can download an export in the app);
  • correct data that is wrong (most data can be edited in the app);
  • delete your data or your whole account (in the app, on focusfitplan.com/delete-account, or by email);
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing before the withdrawal;
  • object to or ask us to restrict processing;
  • receive your data in a machine-readable format (data portability).

Send requests to privacy@focusfitplan.com. We respond within one month.

You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Age

IronMind is intended for people aged 16 and over. Do not use the app if you are younger.

How we handle your data

Connections between the app and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS). Database access rules ensure each account can only read and change its own data. Only the processing described in this policy has access to it.

Changes

We update this policy when the app changes how it handles data. The date below shows the latest version. For significant changes we will also tell you in the app.
